The Embankment

Sunday 4th November was fine but not too warm while those working on the track panels appreciated shelter from the sun. 

The day started with three panels connected in place; by work’s end, an additional four panels were connected with lower panels dragged to the needed location ready for further work.

• The task of connecting Clarence with the rest of the ZZR network is about half complete; soon our little workhorses (the Section Cars) will be able to traverse the whole line.
• Several/many sleepers need replacement before our heavy rail vehicles will be able to complete the ballasting task.
